On March 31, President DiSalvo announced updates regarding the Class of 2021 Commencement plans.
The new update states that there will be one collective graduation for all members of the class of 2021 on May 22, including all graduate and undergraduate students, with two guests per graduate, per Gov. Charlie Baker's updated Covid-19 guidelines.
The plans also announced the commencement speaker to be Dana Bash, CNN's Chief Political Correspondent and Co-Anchor of State of the Union with Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, the network's Sunday morning newsmaker show. Bash will deliver a virtual address on May 22.
Additionally, the plans included senior week festivities, including a lobster bake, senior banquet and a Gatsby-themed casino party.
DiSalvo ended his email saying that while these plans are subject to change, it is a positive note for the Class of 2021.
