Joe Kalosky celebrates a touchdown over Hobart 

The Endicott fall sports fly high this homecoming weekend with wins all around. These wins gave the Endicott community a confident look into the season ahead.


The Endicott football team has prevailed this weekend with a 27-24 win over Hobart on Saturday, improving our overall record to 2-2. Feeding on energy from the crowd, they started it off with the first touchdown of the game from John Kenney who ran a 27 yard-dash to get the score to 6 with the extra point by Nick DiCairano to make it 7. Throughout the game there was back to back scoring from both teams to make it a close game. Especially in the second quarter when Hobart got 14 points with Endicott only leading by 3. Toward the second half of the game, Hobarts offense started to excel with 7 points in the 3rd quarter and 3 in the 4th quarter but not enough to garner a win. The Gulls will travel to Curry College on Saturday to take on the Colonels at 1 P.M.

Field Hockey

Endicott field hockey team went head to head with Salve Regina Saturday afternoon. The triumph win was a team effort but the powerhouse of this game was Addi Williams who put down five goals during the game. Their overall score is improved to 7-2 and 4-0 Commonwealth Coast Conference making them undefeated in the conference. On Tuesday, September 25th at 7:00 P.M. they are traveling to Nichols for a conference matchup.

Women’s Tennis

The Endicott women’s tennis conquered Roger Williams University by an astonishing 9-0 final score. In the singles match Gretta Hartman had a 4-0 lead with an overall 6-0 and Reilly Fitzgibbons battled for a shutout at number 3 (8-0.) Overall the women’s tennis team was walking on air with their outstanding day of wins. On Wednesday, September 26th, they will travel to Gordon College for a game at 4:00 P.M.

Women's Soccer

The Endicott Women’s soccer team did not hold back when conquering Salve Regina with a tremendous 5-0 ending score this past Saturday. The three goals were scored by Sharlotte Pernice, Hannah Pesci, Larissa Cade. In the second half, Gabriella Prisco found the back of the net and Hannah Lejeune scored her first collegiate goal to secure the win. Next game on Tuesday they will travel to Babson and start at 4:00 P.M.

Men’s Soccer

The Endicott men's soccer team ended their Saturday night with a 0-0 draw against Salve Regina. Although no one found the back of the net, they honored seniors Conner Couchot, Victor DaCosta, Bobby Ivatts, and Chris Montani for their commitment and hard work to the program. The Gulls are 2-4-2 on the season and look to Wednesday night when they take on Johnson and Wales on the road.

Women’s Volleyball

Endicott women’s volley team hosted Nichols College on Saturday in the opener. A highlight from the match was by Meghan Frederick, who drew in five kills on a 12 error-free swings to hit .417. This was a great first win for the Gulls in the conference starting with a 1-0 lead. Winning all three matches is a step in the right direction. The Gulls will now travel to CCC competitor, Salve Regina on Wednesday and start at 7:00 P.M.

Women’s Cross Country

On Saturday, the Women’s Cross Country team competed at the Pop Crowell invitational at Gordon College. The team finished a strong third overall out of all sixteen teams with a strong race by Emma Farrington who led in a 6th place finish. Aleah McKay finished in 12th place and Abigail Keim, Sophia Conde, and Laura Pomeroy finished in the top-five for Endicott. On Saturday, September 29th at 1:30 P.M. they will travel to Brunswick, Maine for the Bowdoin Invitational.

Women’s Rugby

Endicott Women’s rugby team had such a victorious weekend with a 106-5 win over Wheaton College. Amanda Poulin led the tries with seven but ultimately the day wouldn’t have been the way it was without the amount of teamwork presented on Saturday offensively and defensively. With this win, the Gulls are now undefeated with 2-0. The next game is to be held on Friday, September 28th at 7 P.M. at Hempstead Stadium against Johnson and Wales University.

Men’s Rugby

Endicott men’s rugby recently went up against UMass Dartmouth and achieved a 28-12 win. Upcoming, the Gulls go against Western New England University at Hempstead Stadium on Saturday, September 30th at 10 A.M.

Men’s Cross Country

Last weekend, Endicott’s Men’s cross country recently went to the Pop Crowell Invitational on Saturday at Gordon College where they finished fourth place overall out of 17 other teams with 117 points. Joshua Knight finished 7th overall with a time of 27:49.8 on the 8-kilometer course which made the day. On Saturday, September 29th at 2:30 P.M., the Gulls will travel to Brunswick, Maine for the Bowdoin Invitational.
